3 Phase Leakage Monitor
The leakage current passed through an insulator in transformers and transmission lines are purely capacitive in ideal conditions
Aging can cause impurities in insulators, introducing conductive path for current to flow, increasing the resistive leakage current through the insulator.
The ratio between the resistive and capacitive leakage current components is called the dissipation factor or tan delta, and can be used to monitor the aging of transmission cables and transformers.
Estimating accurate tan delta can be challenging as the resistive leakage current can be orders of magnitude smaller than capacitive leakage current.
Aizenn's Solution
Aizenn 3 Phase Leakage Monitoring System
The Aizenn 3 Phase Leakage Monitoring System is a non-invasive 3 phase current sensor with high accuracy and low noise designed to measure the leakage currents electric motors and cables. The Aizenn 3 Phase Leakage Monitoring System evaluates the operating condition of electric motors and cables by extracting resistive and capacitive leakage current components. The measured and extracted data can be viewed using Aizenn Leakage Monitoring software.
